Safe in the palm of His hand

John 10:28-30 says:

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

Once you have placed your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, there is nothing and no one that could ever snatch you out of His hand. If there is anywhere that you are safe and secure, it is in the palm of your Lord’s hand. This verse really spoke to me this morning as I was getting ready to start the day. God reminded me that I am safe in the palm of His mighty hand. This wonderful truth is especially comforting right now as we deal with this vicious virus, this invisible enemy that we are facing named Covid-19.

It does not matter what you face or go through in this life as a Christian because you will never be out of your Father’s hand. Think about that for a minute. Life is full of twists and turns that a lot of times we don’t see coming. Knowing that we are safe in His hand can be a great source of comfort. Do you know that you are safe in the palm of His hand?

If you are not sure whether or not you are safe and secure in the palm of His hand, you can be. The Bible says if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved. Once you are saved, you are then safe in the Father’s hand. Come to Jesus. He is knocking at the door of your heart and He wants to come in. Will you open the door and invite Him in?
