Our Great Provider

Philippians 4:19 says:

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”

Our Lord is the Great Provider.  We can always count on Him to supply our needs.  He knows us better than we know ourselves and He will never prove to be unfaithful in our time of need.  He is God and we can count on Him. So many times, we can find ourselves doubting the Lord’s provision instead of trusting in His provision.  We are called to walk by faith, not by sight.  Although there are times when it may not appear that He has come through, the truth is in His perfect timing He is always right on time to supply our every need.  We all have needs and the God of heaven knows those needs.  Whether you are sick and in need of healing, or feeling discouraged and in need of encouragement, He is always there to provide for you as your heavenly Father.  Yet, we doubt.  Yet, we worry.  Look at the birds of the air.  Our Father provides for them and supplies their needs.  Will He not then supply your needs?

It is important that we understand as well that He meets our needs according to His glorious riches.  He supplies our needs in accordance with His glorious will.  From the earliest pages of Scripture, God has been known as the God who will provide.  Trust in Him always.  Our lives are in His hands and He will take care of us.
