Glorifying God

So many times, we ask the question: What is my purpose? Why am I here? You are here my friend to glorify God! Glorifying God is our chief objective while we walk this earth and into eternity. Every minute of every day is to be spent glorifying our Father in heaven. Our purpose can be summed up in two words: Glorify God. We search long and hard and high and low for meaning, for purpose in life when the whole time our purpose is very clear, it is not a mystery.

What is God’s will for your life you ask? It is to glorify Him in all things and at all times. We can bring glory to God in a number of different ways through worshiping Him, sharing the Gospel, and equipping disciples just to name a few. We are either going to glorify ourselves or we are going to glorify God. It is always one or the other. So, what is your choice? Will you choose to glorify God or glorify something or someone else or even yourself? I pray that every day you choose to bring glory to the Savior.

Psalm 115:1 says:

“Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.”
