Staying the Course

Life is hard. Trials come and things happen that can take us by surprise, like Covid-19. A lot of times trials catch us by surprise. If we are not careful, the trials of this life can shake us to the core. They can shake us so much that we begin to doubt our faith in the Lord. We begin to question and doubt if He is in control and on His throne. The good news is, He is!

He will never leave us nor forsake us, no matter what. If you find yourself in the midst of a trying time, lean upon His everlasting arms and cling to Him. He loves you so much and cares for you. Because the Lord is with us, we shall not be moved. The apostle Paul encouraged the church at Corinth to stand firm in 1 Corinthians 15:58:

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

My dear friends, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Remember that the Holy Spirit of God lives in you and is the One who supplies you with the divine strength to stand strong even in the toughest of trials and the severest of storms. We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus who has gone before us. He is our refuge and strength. He is our help and our salvation. If you are reading this and you are in the middle of a terrible storm, don’t rely on your own strength, rely on His. He loves you.

Have a great day. Love you guys!
